This is a very well written biography about the Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta. She was given many titles by Our Lord throughout her life which reflect the important role that she was chosen to fulfill, but the title He used most and which best expresses her relationship with Jesus is “Little Daughter of the Divine Will.” At age 17 Luisa began having a life formed around her mystical experiences and regular encounters with Jesus. For somewhere around 60 years she lived in the Eucharist alone, taking no other food or drink. All of her austerity and suffering was the work of Our Blessed Lord forming her to be the bearer of a work of supreme and unsurpassable importance. She was given messages over a 40 year period which she meticulously recorded under obedience to Our Lord and her confessors. These writings were given the title by Our Lord: “The Book of Heaven: the Call of the Creature to the Order, the Place and the Purpose for Which He was Created by God.” She was given the mission to live in the Divine Will in such perfect accord as only Our Lady and Our Lord have done since the Fall of Adam and to share these messages which are the pathway for others to enter into this “Kingdom of the Divine Will,” the “Kingdom of the Supreme and Eternal Fiat.” Jesus explains that He chose Luisa, “the tiniest of all,” in order to bring about the universal fulfillment of the great Good: the fulfillment of the words of Jesus in the Our Father prayer: “Fiat voluntas Tua sicut in caelo et in terra.” Her works have been published and promulgated all over the world and are translated into many languages. Saint Annibale di Francia himself saw to the publication of many of her writings. The ecclesiastical approvals of Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur have also been attached to her various writings.
