Collection: 📚 Our Lady of the Assumption

Mary, the Mother of Jesus, was assumed body and soul into Heaven at the end of her earthly life, a privilege granted to her alone among mortals. Though not explicitly recorded in Scripture, the Assumption was believed by the early Church and honored in liturgy as early as the 4th century. This moment marks Mary’s sharing in the Resurrection of her Son and her exaltation as Queen of Heaven. Her Assumption offers hope to all the faithful, pointing to the resurrection promised to us. Pope Pius XII formally declared the Assumption as dogma in 1950, confirming the Church’s long-standing belief in Mary's heavenly glorification.
