Collection: 📚 St. James the Greater

St. James the Greater, son of Zebedee and brother of St. John the Apostle, was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus. He is known for his zealous faith, being part of Jesus’ inner circle at the Transfiguration and the Agony in the Garden. After preaching the Gospel in Spain and Judea, he was martyred by King Herod Agrippa I around 44 AD, becoming the first apostle to shed his blood for Christ. His relics are venerated at Santiago de Compostela, which has become a major pilgrimage site, inspiring countless faithful to follow Christ courageously.
