St. Tarcisius
St. Tarcisius was a 3rd-century Roman youth and martyr, celebrated for his courage in protecting the Eucharist. A young acolyte of the Church, he was entrusted with carrying the Blessed Sacrament to Christians imprisoned during the Roman persecutions. When attacked by a mob who demanded he hand it over, Tarcisius refused, choosing to protect the Eucharist even at the cost of his life. He is remembered as a model of devotion, courage, and reverence for the Blessed Sacrament.
