Collection: 📚 St. Martha

St. Martha, sister of Mary and Lazarus, was a devoted follower of Jesus known for her hospitality and faith. She is best remembered from the Gospels for welcoming Jesus into her home and for her active service, contrasted with Mary’s contemplative listening. After the death of her brother Lazarus, Martha expressed her deep faith in Christ’s power, proclaiming, “I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God.” Tradition holds that she later evangelized in Provence, France, after fleeing persecution.
