Collection: 📚 St. Francis Xavier

St. Francis Xavier was one of the greatest missionaries in Church history and a founding member of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits). Born into nobility in Navarre, Spain, he was inspired by St. Ignatius of Loyola to dedicate his life completely to Christ. Sent as a missionary to the East, he evangelized vast regions of India, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Japan, baptizing tens of thousands and tirelessly preaching the Gospel to those who had never heard it. His zeal for souls and boundless energy made him a model of missionary spirit. He died on an island off the coast of China while trying to enter the mainland to continue his work.
