St. Timothy
St. Timothy was a 1st-century Christian leader, companion of St. Paul, and the first bishop of Ephesus. Born in Lystra, Asia Minor, he was raised by a devout mother and grandmother and became an important figure in the early Church. Timothy assisted St. Paul on his missionary journeys, helped establish churches, and was entrusted with guiding new Christian communities. Known for his faith, gentleness, and dedication to teaching, he is remembered as a model of pastoral care, courage, and steadfastness in spreading the Gospel.
