Collection: ๐Ÿ“š St. Maximilian Kolbe

St. Maximilian Kolbe was a Polish Franciscan priest known for his deep devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and his heroic act of self-sacrifice during World War II. Born in 1894, he founded the Militia Immaculatae, a movement dedicated to spreading devotion to Mary and promoting faith through modern media. During the Nazi occupation of Poland, he was arrested for sheltering refugees, including many Jews, at his friary. While imprisoned at Auschwitz, he offered his life in place of another man condemned to die. His courage, compassion, and unwavering faith made him a powerful witness to love and mercy, even in the darkest circumstances.
