St. Peter Julian Eymard
St. Peter Julian Eymard was a 19th-century French priest renowned for his deep devotion to the Eucharist and for founding the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament. Born in 1811 in La Mure, France, he was ordained a priest in 1834 and initially joined the Marists before following a special calling to promote Eucharistic adoration and devotion. Through his preaching, writings, and establishment of communities devoted to the Blessed Sacrament, he inspired countless Catholics to deepen their love for the Eucharist. St. Peter Julian Eymard is remembered for his holiness, zeal for the spiritual life, and dedication to fostering Eucharistic worship and understanding.
