St. Isabella of France was a 13th–14th-century French princess and queen consort of England, known for her piety, charity, and dedication to the poor. After the death of her husband, King Edward II, she devoted herself to a life of prayer and service, founding religious houses and supporting the Carmelite and Franciscan orders. She became a model of sanctity for royalty, showing that holiness can be lived through both political life and charitable works.
