God the Father is the First Person of the Most Holy Trinity, the Creator of Heaven and Earth, and the eternal source of all life and love. He is the loving Father who formed humanity in His image and sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem the world. From all eternity, He begets the Son and, together with the Son, breathes forth the Holy Spirit. Three divine Persons in one God. God the Father watches over His children with mercy and providence, calling all to live in His truth and to one day share eternal life with Him in Heaven.
