St. William of Norwich was a 12th-century English boy, venerated as a martyr and remembered for his innocence and piety. Born in Norwich, England, he died tragically at a young age under mysterious circumstances in 1144. Local tradition regarded him as a holy child, and he was honored as a martyr due to the perceived miraculous signs surrounding his death. St. William became a symbol of purity and devotion, inspiring the faithful to uphold innocence, faith, and moral integrity.
