St. Thérèse of Lisieux
St. Thérèse of Lisieux, also known as “The Little Flower,” was a 19th- and 20th-century French Carmelite nun celebrated for her simplicity, humility, and profound spiritual insight. Born in 1873 in Alençon, France, she entered the Carmelite convent at a young age and lived a hidden life of prayer, love, and sacrifice. Though she died at just 24, her writings, particularly Story of a Soul, inspired millions with her “little way” of seeking holiness through everyday acts of love and trust in God. St. Thérèse is remembered as a model of childlike faith, devotion, and complete surrender to God’s will.
