St. Germaine Cousin was a poor shepherdess from Pibrac, France, who endured great suffering with remarkable patience and faith. Born with a crippled hand and afflicted by illness, she was mistreated by her family yet never lost her trust in God. She spent her days in prayer while tending sheep, and many miracles occurred through her intercession both during and after her life. Her humble holiness became a radiant example of childlike faith and purity.
