ANTIQUE GOLD RED MARBELINE BEADS WITH BOOKLET ON HOW TO PRAY THE SURRENDER NOVENA.
O Jesus, I surrender myself to you, take care of everything!
This surrender novena prayer by Fr. Dolindo Ruotolo opens your heart and mind experiencing deep love and trust in Jesus, letting go of everything and allowing Him to take control. Jesus will bring you peace of heart and rest in your soul.
This Surrender Novena Prayer was written by Fr. Dolindo Ruotolo, a holy Italian priest and well-known for his spirituality of surrender. This prayer was given by Jesus to Fr. Ruotolo. During his life (1882-1970) as a priest and stigmatized miracle worker, and he was able to hear the words of God. He lived a life totally devoted to Jesus and Mother Mary. Jesus taught him the teachings of abandoning oneself to God. In this novena, Jesus is talking to him and also to you.
Fr. Ruotolo is known today for a simple prayer of surrender to Jesus: "Gesù, pensaci tu" (Jesus, you take care of it).
This powerful prayer is striking for its childlike simplicity, and it start like this:
Why do you confuse yourselves by worrying? Leave the care of your affairs to me and everything will be peaceful. I say to you in truth that every act of true, blind, complete surrender to me produces the effect that you desire and resolves all difficult situations. O Jesus, I surrender myself to you, take care of everything! (say 10 times)
The prayer of surrender can be prayed in its entirety, or prayed over nine days as a novena.
"A thousand prayers cannot equal one single act of surrender, remember this well. There is no novena more effective than this." Need I say more?! I bought this for my teenage son, and it had such an effect on him that he carries it everywhere with him -- to school, to the gym, and of course to Adoration. The novena and prayer beads have helped him (and therefore me) let go of so many worries and fears. It amazes me that all we have to do is ask Jesus to "take care of everything" -- and He will.
