Scalloped Wall Cross Crucifix, Holy Land Olive Wood - 5.5"

This wooden cross is crafted from natural olive wood in the Holy Land of Israel by local artisans. 

Above the head of Jesus is the INRI plaque. The Latin initialism "INRI" is meant to refer to the phrase "Iēsus Nazarēnus, Rēx Iūdaeōrum", which translates to "Jesus the Nazarene, King of the Jews". According to John 19:20, this phrase was written in three different languages and hung on a plaque above the head of Jesus at his crucifixion.

Due to the natural variations in olive wood, each individual cross is unique and will differ slightly in overall design.
