Saint Therese of Lisieux 4.75" Plush Doll
Marie-Françoise-Thérèse Martin was born on January 2, 1873, in Alençon, France. At just fifteen, she entered the Carmelite convent in Lisieux, where she developed her “Little Way” — a spirituality of doing small things with great love. Despite suffering from tuberculosis, Thérèse maintained profound faith and joy. She died at twenty-four, but her autobiography, Story of a Soul, has inspired millions. She was canonized in 1925 and declared a Doctor of the Church in 1997.
Saint Thérèse teaches us that small acts of love have great power.
Feast Day: October 1 | Patroness of Missionaries and Florists
WHAT MAKES HER SPECIAL
SAINT THÉRÈSE OF LISIEUX is hand-designed by Little Drops of Water and crafted in soft, cuddle-ready fabric. She wears the brown habit and cream veil of the Carmelite order, with a bouquet of roses gathered in her arms — the shower of roses she promised to send from heaven. At about 8 inches tall, she is sized to be carried through the day, tucked into bed at night, and hugged as often as a child likes.
Every Catholic Plush Doll from Little Drops of Water is hand-designed and made to be loved — soft to hold, with embroidered features and no hard pieces, so a child’s first encounter with a saint is something gentle, huggable, and entirely their own.
A REFLECTION
Saint Thérèse promised to spend her heaven doing good on earth, and to let fall a shower of roses. Her “Little Way” was never about grand gestures — only small things done with great love, the kind a child understands best of all. To place this soft Thérèse in a child’s arms is to hand them that promise: that the smallest acts of kindness, and the smallest person, are precious to God.
