Love, Peace, and Joy: Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus According to St. Gertrude the Great - by Fr. Andre Prevot

Drawn from the extraordinary revelations of St. Gertrude the Great, Love, Peace, and Joy offers readers a practical path to deeper union with God through devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. One of the Church’s greatest mystics, St. Gertrude was blessed with remarkable visions of Our Lord and Our Lady, receiving profound insights into Christ’s immense love for humanity and the mysteries of His Incarnation, Passion, Eucharistic Presence, and perpetual sacrifice for souls.

Centuries before the revelations granted to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, St. Gertrude received heavenly instruction on honoring the Sacred Heart and participating more fully in the divine life. Through these revelations, Our Lord revealed practical spiritual practices that help souls advance rapidly in Divine Charity and draw closer to His Heart.

Among the most powerful teachings presented in this volume is the practice of placing one's prayers within the Sacred Heart of Jesus, allowing them to be perfected and offered more pleasingly to God. Filled with wisdom from one of the Church’s most privileged mystics, this book reveals hidden treasures of sanctity and provides a guide for cultivating greater love, peace, and joy through the Heart of the Divine Redeemer.
