Although he is sometimes confused with Judas Iscariot due to the similarity in their names, St. Jude is known for his deep faith and powerful intercession. His devotion to spreading the Good News and his miracles after death, especially in answering difficult prayers, led to his reputation as the patron saint of desperate causes and hopeless situations.
