She instructed Catherine to have a medal struck with the words, “O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.” The medal quickly became a source of countless miracles, conversions, and healings, reminding the faithful of Mary’s intercession and her closeness to all who turn to her in faith.
