Collection: ㅤSt. Louis Martin

St. Louis Martin was a French clockmaker and the father of St. Thérèse of Lisieux, whose life of holiness and devotion to God left a profound impact on the Church. He married Zelie Guerin (St. Zelie Martin), and together they had nine children, four of whom survived infancy. St. Louis was known for his deep faith, humility, and gentle nature, embodying the virtues of patience and dedication to family life. Despite the many challenges he faced, including the early death of his wife and the difficulties of raising a family, St. Louis remained steadfast in his trust in God’s providence. His life of devotion to his children, especially his encouragement of St. Thérèse's spiritual development, has made him an inspiration to fathers and family men.
