After a profound experience of God’s love which led our founder back to the faith of his youth, he began looking for a “realistic crucifix” - one offering a plausible representation of what we read about in Scripture and the accounts of mystics, and see in the bonafide stigmatists of Church history as well as the Shroud of Turin. After months of fruitless searching, he felt led to make one, not just for himself, but for all who share his desire. The one-of-a-kind, original “Realistic Crucifix” is the fruit of that effort. This Antique Bronze style is an affordable and presentable version of the complex, highly detailed, full-color original, retaining its grittiness and realism.
