Collection: ㅤSt. Luke

St. Luke was a physician, historian, and Evangelist, traditionally believed to be the author of the Gospel of Luke and the Acts of the Apostles. A companion of St. Paul, Luke traveled with him on some of his missionary journeys and is noted for his attention to detail and the compassionate portrayal of Jesus in his writings. As the only Gospel writer who was not one of the Twelve Apostles, Luke provides a unique perspective on the life, teachings, and ministry of Christ, particularly focusing on themes of mercy, healing, and social justice. He is also the patron saint of physicians, artists, and anyone who works with their hands, as he is believed to have been a skilled painter and is often depicted with an artist’s palette or a scroll.
