Collection: ㅤSt. Katherine Drexel

St. Katherine Drexel was an American heiress who became a religious sister and founder of the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament. Born into a wealthy family, she dedicated her life and fortune to serving Native American and African American communities, especially in the United States. After being deeply moved by the plight of marginalized people, St. Katherine used her inheritance to establish schools, missions, and colleges, including Xavier University in New Orleans, the first historically Black Catholic university in the U.S. Known for her fierce commitment to social justice and education, she became a model of charity and selflessness.
