St. Maria Faustina Kowalska was a Polish nun and mystic who is best known for her role in spreading the message of Divine Mercy. Born in 1905, Faustina entered the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy and soon began receiving visions and messages from Jesus, who entrusted her with the mission of promoting His Divine Mercy to the world. Her diary, "Divine Mercy in My Soul," contains her spiritual reflections and the revelations she received, urging the faithful to trust in God's mercy and offer prayers for the salvation of souls. St. Faustina’s devotion to the Divine Mercy has inspired a worldwide movement, especially with the establishment of Divine Mercy Sunday.
