Collection: ㅤSt. Julia of Carthage

St. Julia of Carthage was an early Christian martyr who lived in North Africa during the 5th century. She was a noblewoman who, after the death of her husband, devoted herself to the service of Christ. St. Julia became known for her steadfast faith, even when captured by barbarian invaders. Despite being subjected to harsh treatment and slavery, she remained resolute in her Christian beliefs. Eventually, she was martyred for refusing to renounce her faith, and she is remembered for her courage and dedication to Christ, even unto death.
