Collection: ㅤSt. Juan Diego

St. Juan Diego was a humble indigenous Mexican man who is best known for his role in the apparition of the Virgin of Guadalupe in 1531. A native of the Aztec people, Juan Diego was a recent convert to Christianity when he encountered the Blessed Virgin Mary on a hill near Mexico City. She asked him to build a church in her honor, and when he faced skepticism, she provided him with miraculous roses and an image of herself on his tilma, which became a lasting symbol of her love for the people of Mexico and the Americas. His obedience, humility, and faith made him an enduring model of devotion to Our Lady.
