Collection: ㅤSt. John of God

St. John of God was a Portuguese soldier-turned-saint who, after a dramatic conversion, devoted his life to caring for the sick, poor, and abandoned. He founded the Brothers Hospitallers, a religious order dedicated to healthcare and hospitality. His profound compassion and self-sacrifice, especially during times of plague and famine, made him a model of Christian charity. His legacy lives on in the many hospitals and care institutions inspired by his work.
