Collection: ㅤSt. Matthew the Apostle

St. Matthew, also known as Levi, was a tax collector called personally by Jesus to become one of the Twelve Apostles. After his conversion, he left everything to follow Christ and later authored the first Gospel, which emphasizes Jesus as the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy. Tradition holds that he preached the Gospel in places such as Ethiopia or Persia, where he was eventually martyred for the faith. His life is a powerful witness to God’s mercy and the call to transformation.
